Celebration

Diwali begins today- with Dhanteras. As I get set to celebrate the festival of lights in this foreign land- I know I will miss making rangoli- lighting diya's- hanging aakaash-kandil- and playing with anaar and phool-jhadees and most important of all- the home-made sweets and other delicacies that are going to flood my home and office back in India!

But I also know that I have the festive spirit in my heart- and even if it is without all these above things- I will celebrate Diwali here with a new dress and a candle or two! I will celebrate this festival with as much joy because the light is inside of me- and I carry it wherever I go :)
