Ice Maiden

At times independence ends up being a curse for a woman, especially in case of relationships. Most men are wary of women who can take care of themselves. They talk about wanting a intelligent partner who can think for herself etc etc- but behind all that talk, they still have this deep-rooted instinctive desire to protect and care for their woman. If the woman never gives them a chance to do so- she is termed as cold and ultra-independent. Essentially- it all boils down to the question "Who's the man"

Bottomline- all you independent women out there- sometimes it is a good idea to just back-off and let the guy take care of you. Not only will that boost his ego- but it's also a nice feeling to just let go of the I'll take care of it mode once in a while and enjoy all the attention that you're getting ;)

You know, what really stumps me is why these ultra-independent women even care the tiniest bit about such shallow men after all :)

My bottomline? Well, to all you "independent" women out there, you're wasting your time with the wrong men who can't even accept and respect you for what you are... go find someone who lets you be who you are, and loves you just the same :)

Boost his ego? Boost that pig's ego? :)) Hmmm... I'd be appalled if any self-respecting intelligent lady ever did that :) Well, ladies, unless you're in the mood for mischief, I'd say these losers don't deserve your attention or sympathy -- or worse -- getting their skanky egos boosted by you stooping down to be someone you're not for these poor sissy blokes who deserve no good whatsoever.

(Sorry got a little carried away Pri! :)

Ideally- these independent women should not care about these men. But the ground reality is that one way or the other- they do. I guess that at some level they need to do so to keep their relationship alive- sometimes due to social constraints- and at other times simply out of love :)
